Hyundai has announced the recall of more than 167,000 Palisade SUVs because of a problem with the driver-side windshield wiper. Snow and/or ice buildup on the windshield could obstruct the wiper arm and prevent the wiper from working. The resulting buildup of snow or ice could reduce driver visibility in inclement weather, increasing the risk of a crash.

Hyundai to Notify Customers of Recall on Friday, Oct. 14
Hyundai Motor America will send out safety recall notifications this week to owners of the 2020-2021 Hyundai Palisade. According to documentation submitted to the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA), there is an issue with the windshield wiper motor, which could reportedly become inoperable and cause the wipers to fail.
