Don’s Mobile Glass in Modesto, Calif., recently saw a class of five participants graduate from the company’s eight-week training course. Each of the trainees took the Auto Glass Safety Council™ (AGSC) certification exam in week four of the course and passed.
The techs who participated are as follows: Aram Biro, Sinharib Sada, Jacob Smith, Lonnell Wilson and Pheng Yang.
In addition to training technicians for the AGSC certification exam, the company’s training course also includes “emotional intelligence training to aid in servicing/understanding both internal and external customers; and training with ADAS features/functions and all three types of calibration/re-calibration/alignment and aiming procedures,” according to Jacques Navant, technical director for Don’s Mobile Glass.
The company’s training course is an AGSC Registered Training Program.
“Each graduation ceremony is held at our company founder’s [Don Monaco’s] top-secret airplane hangar deep in the heart of Modesto,” adds Navant.
