Mercedes-Benz USA has issued a voluntary recall affecting 23 models and more than 30,000 individual cars due to potentially detaching sunroofs. According to documents submitted to the National Highway Transportation Safety Administration (NHTSA), this is the latest step in an investigation the company began in 2017.

Ford Motor Company recalled some Transit Connect vehicles because their panoramic roof panels could detach while driving.
The National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA) reports that the April 26 recall applies to certain 2017-2019 Ford Transit Connect vans. The panoramic roof panel may be poorly bonded to the vehicle, allowing it to come loose as the car goes down the road.
