ADAS equipment manufacturer CarCal Mobile Experts has submitted its Declaration of Conformance to the Auto Glass Replacement Safety Standard (AGRSS™) to the Auto Glass Safety Council (AGSC). The Declaration affirms that CarCal Mobile Experts’ Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS) calibration equipment “meets and/or exceeds the associated original vehicle manufacturer’s documented calibration/recalibration needs” when used in the manner the company directs.
This means a vehicle calibrated using CarCal Mobile Experts’ equipment should function at the same safety levels as it would when calibrated by the original equipment manufacturer (OEM).
In its declaration, CarCal Mobile Experts states: “CarCal Mobile Experts will make every commercially-reasonable effort to remain in compliance with the ANSI/AGSC/AGRSS 005-2022 Standard (or its most current version) set forth by the Auto Glass Safety Council and approved by ANSI.”
The AGSC requests that all manufacturers of ADAS calibration/recalibration equipment submit a Declaration of Conformance.
